Business Travel Managers: The Training Course by Travel for Business

Business trips—how to organise them and how to work with those who need to manage their company’s mobility.

From 15 February to 13 April 2027, Travel & Mobility Mastery returns—the training programme promoted by Travel for Business and dedicated to professionals in the management of business travel and corporate mobility. The course will be held in a hybrid format, alternating online lessons with in-person sessions.

The initiative is aimed both at those who intend to enter the profession of Travel and Mobility Manager and at those who wish to consolidate their existing skills. The goal is to provide practical tools for optimising travel costs, improving service quality, and reducing the environmental impact of corporate travel.

The programme comprises 13 training modules dedicated to the main aspects of business travel: negotiation with airlines and travel agencies, booking systems, data analysis, budget management, travel policy, and traveller safety. There are also in-depth sessions on the use of artificial intelligence, on sustainability, on the management of corporate fleets, and on the organisation of MICE events—that is, from the English acronym, “Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions.”

Among the instructors are Rosemarie Caglia, founder of Travel for Business, and Ivano Gallino, a partner in the company and vice-president of the Italian Association of Travel Mobility Managers. The programme—sponsored by the association itself and ICMQ-qualified—follows a training plan based on the themes of the UNI 11977:2025 standard. For each module completed, a certificate of participation is issued, while passing a final test with a minimum score of 60 per cent also allows participants to obtain a certificate of learning.

The full programme and information on how to take part are available on the Travel for Business website.
