Romagna Tourism Experience: 23 Italian Buyers to Promote Tourism in 2027-2028

Three days of B2B meetings and on-site visits organised by Visit Romagna to develop new commercial partnerships and strengthen the tourism offering, including outside the high season.

CERVIA — The fifth edition of Romagna Tourism Experience came to a close on Sunday 25 October—an initiative promoted by Visit Romagna that brought together 23 buyers from all over Italy, including tour operators, travel agencies, CRALs (company recreational associations), and event organisers. The aim of the event, held from 23 to 25 October, was to foster new commercial partnerships and develop tourism proposals for the 2027-2028 period.

The event opened on Friday at the Grand Hotel Gallia in Milano Marittima with an evening attended by over 70 people, in the presence of the Regional Tourism Councillor Roberta Frisoni, Cervia’s Tourism Councillor Federica Bosi, and the director of Visit Romagna, Chiara Astolfi.

On Saturday morning the B2B workshop took place, with meetings between buyers and local operators, including DMCs, accommodation providers, thermal spa facilities, and product clubs. In the afternoon, participants visited Cervia’s historic centre through activities dedicated to artisan traditions, maritime culture, and food-and-wine production.

The closing day was devoted to three itineraries exploring the local area: outdoor and wellness between Bagno di Romagna and Mercato Saraceno; culture and traditions between Ravenna and Cesenatico; and food-and-wine and rural heritage in the Valconca, between Montefiore Conca and Montescudo.

The visits allowed the buyers to experience first-hand the activities and services to include in their own catalogues and travel programmes, with particular attention to the de-seasonalisation of Romagna’s tourism offering.
