Romagna promotion abroad from 6 to 8 November at the Colmar International Tourism Fair, plus the preceding meetings with Swiss and French buyers in Basel and Strasbourg.
Visit Romagna is bringing its 2027 tourism offering to the International Tourism and Travel Fair (SITV) in Colmar, from 6 to 8 November. Presented to the public will be stays on the Riviera and itineraries in the hinterland, in the “Destination Monde” pavilion.
Among the exhibitors at the event is LK Tours–Europatours, an Alsatian travel-agency network. Its catalogue includes a seven-day coach tour with a stay in Bellaria, excursions to Rimini, Cesenatico, and San Marino, and a Romagna cookery course in French.
For the event’s 41st edition, at the Parc des Expositions in Colmar, the organisers announce five themed pavilions, over 250 exhibitors, and more than 20 nationalities represented. 20,000 visitors are expected, according to the figures on the official SITV website.
The initiative fits into a broader framework of regional promotion abroad, aimed in particular at Swiss buyers in Basel on 4 November and French ones on 5 November in Strasbourg. In both cases, the workshops involved tour operators, travel agencies, coach-tour operators, associations, and event organisers.
Emilia-Romagna’s 2027 offering includes, in its catalogue, seaside stays, cultural and food-and-wine itineraries, tours among villages and castles, and proposals linked to active tourism, UNESCO sites, and the Motor Valley.
As part of these initiatives, the direct Basel–Rimini flight has also been confirmed, from 4 April to 26 September 2027, operated by easyJet. There will be two weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays and Sundays. The connection proves strategic for serving the tourism catchment area of Switzerland, Alsace, and southern Germany.
