Cescot Rimini: Five Courses for Digital Communication and Tourism

Learning—and being taught—the art of hospitality and welcoming visitors.

Being online isn’t enough. To reach your audience, communicate effectively, and turn visibility into leads, bookings, and sales, you need skills, up-to-date tools, and a working method. This is the aim of Cescot Rimini’s new training programme, which from October offers five hands-on courses devoted to digital technologies and online promotion.

Among the courses is Instagram Pro Academy, designed for professional use of the social network. Two further courses are dedicated to OTAs and online e-booking—one for hotels, the other for holiday homes and apartments. Travel Design, meanwhile, tackles the design and enhancement of tourism experiences, while Social Media Marketing, Canva and Artificial Intelligence focuses on the tools for content creation and managing digital communication.

The aim, Cescot Rimini explains, is to provide skills that can be applied straight away: identifying your audience, creating more effective content, promoting products, services, and experiences, and using data to guide investments and activities.

It’s an approach that also looks to measuring results. To give an example, display ads that were actually viewable produced a fourfold increase in conversions compared with those that did not meet the minimum viewability standards.

The courses feature practical lessons, exercises based on real cases, professional instructors, the use of tools employed in everyday work, and materials that remain accessible even after the course ends. A certificate is awarded on completion.

The courses will start in October. First up is OTAs and online e-booking for hotels, scheduled from 5 to 9 October, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This will be followed by Social Media Marketing, Canva and Artificial Intelligence, from 26 October to 17 November, and Travel Design, from 27 October to 12 November. For Instagram Pro Academy and the OTA course dedicated to holiday homes and apartments, Cescot currently indicates November and October respectively as the scheduling period.

Among the testimonials from previous editions is Elisa Guagneli—digital creator, storyteller, and founder of the I Love Misano brand. After taking part in the training courses, she developed the portal and its community, turning them into a territorial marketing tool dedicated to the Adriatic Riviera.

Her experience, Cescot Rimini emphasises, embodies the goal of the courses: to provide operational skills that turn digital channels into tools for promoting and developing projects and activities across the local area.
